The validity of the Certificate for Forest Management that has been issued to the Sela’an-Linau FMU on 18 October 2004 against the requirements of MC&I(2001) under the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme (MTCS) has expired on 17 October 2009.  Hence, the Sela’an-Linau FMU is no longer certified under the MTCS with effect from the above-mentioned date.

Under the new institutional arrangement for the MTCS, the Sela’an-Linau FMU is now required to apply to a MTCS-notified Certification Body for assessment against the MC&I(2002).
